Since 2013, the Wihuri Research Institute (WRI) has been organizing the annual WRI Symposium, providing a platform for researchers and students to share knowledge and insights in cardiovascular research.
The symposium facilitates the exchange of the latest technologies and ideas, and encourages interactions at all career levels, from students to global leaders. Participants can look forward to an engaging program of lectures delivered by leading experts and junior investigators in cardiovascular biology and medicine.
The 11th Wihuri Research Institute Symposium on Cardiovascular Biology was organised on 9 June 2025 in Helsinki. The symposium was organized in collaboration with the Doctoral Programme in Biomedicine (DPBM) at the University of Helsinki.
