Train
The I and P local trains connect Helsinki-Vantaa Airport with the city center of Helsinki. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Please buy your ticket from the ticket machine in the terminal or at the train platform before boarding, or use the HSL app. Tickets are not available on the trains.
Bus
Bus number 600 connects the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport with the city center of Helsinki city. Buses depart from platform 10 outside Terminal 2. The ride takes about 1 hour. Tickets can be bought from the ticket machine at the platform or via the HSL app.
By car
The address is Biomedicum 1, Haartmaninkatu 8, 00290 Helsinki. When there, follow signs to find free public underground parking.
Taxi
Taxi stands are located just outside the exit of the arrival terminal.
The airport’s contract partner taxi companies in 2026 are FixuTaksi, Lähitaksi, Menevä and Taksi Helsinki. They all have regulated fares and standardized meters, and they accept credit and debit cards as well as cash. They also have an electronic receipt printer. Please save the detailed receipt for reimbursement. Most taxi drivers speak English.
